The Ministry of Work and Finance, officially the Ministry of Labor, Finance and Trade of the Kingdom of Norelva is a particularly down to earth yet highly technical body of government that, through positive affirmative action and the push for legislation for favorable working conditions, has become a shining symbol of Norelvan proletariat pride. Steelson, the Minister, is the exemplary leader of the authority for labor and finance and is often present at major union meetings, protests and worker assemblies. Of note, the introduction of workplace safety laws and the legendary minimum wage law of 434 have raised Norelva's labor standards extremely. Similar laws have been passed in later years and after 500 in the Matriarchy using the kingdom's as a basis. The ministry manages labor in all its forms and fields, additionally encompassing macroeconomic and microeconomic growth of the nation.
The International Trade Cross-Ministry Department is a body managed by both the Foreign Affairs and Work and Finance ministries in a merged managerial structure that manages export and import to other nations, large and small.
